Parents of Special People, Inc. is a parent run 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring each child in the Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District, Township of Aberdeen & Borough of Matawan is afforded the opportunity to attain his or her potential to become a contributing citizen. PoSP also helped create and form the New Jersey Mandated Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) for the Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District as per NJAC 6A:12-1.2(h) and maintains 2 seats on the Executive Board.
