Parents of Special People membership is open to families in the Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District whose children have an IEP or 504 plan. Children may attend MARSD schools or have out of district placements. Member children have varied disabilities ranging from anxiety, ADHD, and learning disabilities, to heart conditions, autoimmune disorders, cerebral palsy and Down's syndrome. We offer community to students and their families who may struggle with finding supportive social networks.

Your $20.00 Annual Dues are applied toward two (2) adult members of your household and are used to offset the operating costs of PoSP.

 

Becoming a member of Parents of Special People, Inc. allows you:

• Priority Seating and/or Discounted Admission/Fees to PoSP sponsored Member Only events, leagues and workshops

• Voting rights at our Monthly Business Meeting & Annual Elections & By – Law Review & Advance email copies of our meeting minutes

• Eligibility to be a Committee Chair or Executive Board Member

• Exclusive Email and Facebook Group notifications regarding statewide events, articles, workshops, therapies, etc.
