The Florida Center for Reading Research – A multidisciplinary research center at Florida State University that was established in 2002 by the Governor’s office and Legislature. The center supports 17 federal research contracts and grants with a staff of over 550
Institute of Reading Development – The Institute of Reading Development is dedicated to helping students develop strong reading skills and to make good books a central and vital part of their lives.
Lindamood Bell – Lindamood Bell Learning Processes have pioneered programs to develop the sensory cognitive processes that underlie reading and comprehension
Orton Gillingham – The IMSE Orton-Gillingham approach equips educators with strategies appropriate for every tier of the Response to Intervention Model.
Reading First – This program focuses on putting proven methods of early reading instruction in classrooms. Through Reading First, states and districts receive support to apply scientifically based reading research and the proven instructional and assessment tools consistent with this research – to ensure that all children learn to read well by the end of third grade.
Wilson Reading Programs – A leading provider of research based reading and spelling programs for all ages. Wilson’s multisensory, structured curricula have been proven to be highly effective.

Decoding Dyslexia NJ - A grassroots movement driven by NJ families concerned with the limited access to educational interventions for learning disabilities within our public schools and communities.
International Dyslexia Association – A comprehensive website on Dyslexia research, education and advocacy.
National Center for Learning Disabilities – A comprehensive website with links to many programs and resources such as Understood.org, etc.
Nonverbal Learning Disorders Association – An informative website regarding (NLD) Non Verbal Learning Disabilities which refers to the condition where individuals possess high verbal ability but face problems with the Social side and always have a verbal-spatial weakness as well.
